With great power comes great responsibility, and Makai lives that truth daily. A Teen HYPE alum turned dedicated staff member, Makai brings unwavering discipline, inspiration, and a deep passion for service to everything he does. His quiet spirit and selfless nature speak volumes, making a lasting impact on the youth he encounters. 

Like his superhero counterpart Spider-Man, Makai understands the weight and wonder of his “superpower.” He uses it to help young people navigate life’s challenges and discover their own inner strength and light. Through connection and consistency, he supports youth in recognizing that every experience, whether triumph or trial, holds value and growth. 

He draws inspiration from Bruce Lee’s words: “To accept defeat, to learn to die, is to be liberated from it. You must free your ambitious mind and learn the art of dying.”
This mindset fuels his message to youth: Winning isn’t everything, and neither is losing. What matters most is the lesson within.
